Well-aged rockers Bon Jovi will be touring South Africa next year in May. Tickets are available already, details inside.
It’s been nearly 20 years since the rockers performed in South Africa, and browsing over the set list from the 1995 tour, one has to wonder if they’ll be jamming any of their old stuff again for their South African fans.
They probably will, but they have also promised to play new songs from their new album What About Now, launching next year.
The announcement was made earlier on this morning that the soon-to-be-grey rockers will be performing two concerts in South Africa in May 2013 at Cape Town Stadium in Cape Town on 7 May, and at the Soccer City Complex in Johannesburg on 11 May, as part of their ‘Because We Can’ tour.
There are pre-sale tickets available from the Big Concerts website and Computicket, as well as Bon Jovi’s website as of today, but these will be limited to 35% of both stadia capacity. Prices range from R300 – R1 000.
This is what the seating plan for Jozi looks like, and for Cape Town, here.
The remaining tickets for the Jozi gig will go on sale via the web, outlets and call centres on Thursday 1 November 2012 at 09h00, and for Cape Town on Friday 2 November 2012 at 09h00.
