Did you catch the article we penned about The Hawks’ spokesperson, McIntosh Polela, saying he hoped Jub Jub’s friends had given him Vaseline for prison yesterday? Well, Polela, who was initially unapologetic, has changed his mind about that.
It was understandable that people were highly pissed off with Jub Jub the other day when he was convicted on four counts of murder, and two of attempted murder, along with his co-accused.
He didn’t show any remorse for taking four young lives while drunk and high as a kite, and that will piss people off.
So much so that The Hawks’ spokesperson even weighed in on the matter. Initially Polela said that the Vaseline would be a good shoe polish, but we all know that one doesn’t use Vaseline to polish shoes in prison.
So, a change of heart came over Polela, and he this morning apologised for what he’d said.
My tweet about JubJub on Tuesday nite was in poor taste. I profoundly regret posting & hereby retract it. Je suis desole.
