Look, there isn’t much that needs to be said here. The crux of the matter is that the spokesperson for The Hawks, McIntosh Polela, hopes that Jub Jub has Vaseline for his time in prison.
Commenting yesterday afternoon on the fact that Jub Jub had been found guilty of murder, McIntosh saw it fit to wish Jub Jub well:
I trust that JubJub’s supporters gave him a jar of Vaseline to take to prison.

Our initial reaction was to get comment from McIntosh on why he thought it appropriate to say this. He’d offered this to start:
Polishing specialized prison shoes! Rt: “@josephtshivhase: What’s Vaseline for in Prison?
— McIntosh Polela (@toshpolela) October 16, 2012
But then he dismissed other journalists like ex-Talk Radio 702’s Kay Sexwale for bothering to ask him:
@kaysexwale @thecfcr @sapoliceservice I talk about this over 24 hours ago. Moved on thank you

And others:
I find it curious when my journalists colleagues declare they twit in their personal capacity & then ask 4 comment about my twits

So we’ll leave it at that. He’s obviously okay with saying this kind of thing.
Granted he has a high level of involvement with the prison system in South Africa, it is safe to assume he would obviously know what goes on behind closed doors, and was merely pointing out the facts.
