BOS Ice Tea has won a gold award at the New York Smarties Awards 2012 with BEV – the Twitter activated vending robot.
Receiving nearly 500 submissions across 19 categories and from 36 countries around the globe, that is an achievement.
The gold, silver and bronze are awarded based on the best-in-class mobile marketing executions from agencies, marketers, and other mobile providers.
The Smarties are run by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), which also happens to be the leading global trade association for the mobile marketing industry.
BEV was entered in the “Use of Mobile in Social Media” category, and didn’t disappoint.
Other gold award winners included your global icons like Nike, Land Rover, Google and Coca Cola – which is all the more reason to acknowledge this accomplishment.
