It’s not often you get to be close to dolphins as they swim, but imagine being close to thousands at one go? That’s what explorer Mike Horn and photographer Chase Jarvis did recently along the Cape Town coastline.
Horn and Jarvis were incredibly lucky to be in the middle of this rare encounter of what’s called a “super-pod” of dolphins off the coast in August.
Literally thousands and thousands of dolphins gave Chase and crew “a mind-blowing photo and video opportunity.”
The video has already racked up over 300 000 views on YouTube since September 25.
