Nico Rosberg
This week, Puma launched the next Puma Race Off campaign video, featuring Manchester United footballer Michael Carrick taking on the challenge.
He was pretty fast, but had the following to say before he knew how good his performance in the simulator was going to be:
I enjoy motor racing and I started watching Formula One probably about seven or eight years ago. The thrill of putting in a decent lap on the track is a great buzz and I am interested to see what time I can produce.
The challenge: Formula One Star Nico Rosberg challenged some of the best from the world of sport to try their hand in his sport: Formula One.
Puma Race Off sees sporting stars such as Sergio Agüero, Cesc Fàbregas, Michael Carrick and others test themselves in the sport of Formula One. The fastest will have the opportunity to take a driving lesson from Nico, before putting their skills to the test in a high-performance Mercedes-Benz car around a real racing circuit.
This recap video highlights athletes who have appeared in Puma Race Off so far and a teaser for the final three videos of Phil Jones, Nigel De Jong and Sergio Agüero is also provided:
Rosberg is really enjoying the concept and quipped that he is “intrigued to see how all these top athletes perform in a real sport!”
Puma will launch new videos every week, showcasing individual player performances on the famous Monza race track which can be seen at HERE.
