To celebrate their 25th birthday, Nando’s is asking South Africans to give them 25 reasons why South Africa is awesome. To kick things off they have made this hilarious advert, dedicated to the country’s car guards.
I’m sure you are all too familiar with this feeling: you park your car in a parking lot without a human being in sight to assist you. However, when you return to your vehicle a while later, a parking assistant literally appears out of thin air to tell you that your car is perfectly fine. Begrudgingly, you are then forced to hand over that R2 coin.
But was he really there when you arrived? Should you be worried? Is this the first onset of Alzheimers?
Nope, don’t worry, you are perfectly fine. This is but one of the traits of our local car guards – a uniquely South African phenomena.
