Tens rugby is about to take Jozi by storm! The weekend that isn’t just about rugby, as we all know, is taking place this weekend – the 14th and 15th of September – at Pirates Rugby Club in Parkhurst.
The renowned festival will be made up of 32 teams that will be spread across two divisions, the Heavy Beer and Light Beer Division’s, allowing a multitude of skill levels to be included.
Think beer tents, entertainment like DJ Sox, Ard Matthews, Gareth Cliff, Dan Nicholl and Me and Mr Brown, not to mention sufficient amounts of local rugby legends.
There will also be a children’s entertainment section, and for the laydeez, a special “women’s zone”.
Jozi Tens kicks off on the Friday night with a “best dressed” competition – your theme is “Tight and Bright”. The winners of that competition will win a complete all-expenses paid trip to the Cape Town Tens festival taking place next year, and they’ll also put themselves in line to win a trip to the prestigious Hong Kong Tens and Hong Kong 7’s tournaments next year.
There is also plenty of other stuff going that will keep you busy, so check out the Jozi Tens website for more.
Also, don’t be surprised if you see a few people enjoying their flavoured mouthguards from MoGo Sport!
The MoGo Sport website explains why they have the mouthguard that you want to wear.
