Sunday night saw M-Net’s Carte Blanche interview Joost van der Westhuizen. After the episode aired, a lot of people’s interest around Joost’s condition has been piqued – especially since the effects of his illness are starting to become more visible.

Joost was diagnosed with Motor Neuron Disease last year. He then formed the Joost van der Westhuizen Foundation in aid of those suffering from the same form of fatal illnesses. To read more about Motor Neuron Disease, have a look at Joost’s website.
