A laid-off clothing designer fatally shot a former colleague near the Empire State Building on Friday morning. In turn, he was shot dead by police officers during a confrontation that also wounded nine bystanders.

Newly released CCTV footage show the moment the shootout happened. I can be seen in the video below, however, be warned that it is not for sensitive viewers. The shooter is the guy in the suit, towards the top left of the screen. The two policemen can be seen entering from the right:
