See the resemblance?

Check out next month’s cover of Playboy! Way back in March you told you all about Kate’s stripper cousin, Katrina Darling, who has her own burlesque show. Well, it turns out there’s been some interest from Camp Hefner, as she’s gonna be on the cover of next month’s Playboy.

Reports from the Daily Mail are saying that Ms. Darling received a princely six-figure sum from the magazine, who clearly wants to run with as strong a royal connection as possible. Posing in black lingerie, smokey eyes and a casual “Chelsea blow-dry,” it’s all a very thinly disguised attempt to make her look like her cousin. The heading to her right reads: “Royal Beauty Katrina Darling, Britain’s New Burlesque Queen.” Subtle.

A bit of a desperate attempt to grab attention on Playboy’s part – Darling is only Middleton’s second cousin, once removed. Darling’s grandmother is the sister of Middleton’s great-grandfather. She has never spoken to Kate.

Previously working a day job at Barclays, she is now seeking to cash in on her happy coincidence. Darling plans to take her burlesque act to New York, including her signature routine entitled “God Save The Queen.” She will be appearing in an eight-page spread in the September issue of Playboy, including topless shots on a sheepskin rug – because that makes it classy, you know?
