Team SA arrived back in South Africa this morning. They landed at OR Tambo International Airport after taking part in the Olympic Games in London. They were welcomed back by a large crowd, including schoolchildren who were there to cheer for their hero’s.
And Winnie Madikizela-Mandela who rocked up with Caster Semenya’s grandmother?!
South Africa ended the Games as the highest African nation in the medals table, in 24th position with six medals – three gold, two silver and one bronze.
