A few days LEGO® celebrated its 80th birthday and to commemorate the occasion they made a touching animated short which traces the origins of the company from its very humble beginnings to its now almost ubiquitous presence. If you’ve ever laid your hands on the famous bricks, which I truly hope you have, watch this and try not to reminisce at least a bit.
There’s really not much I can say here that isn’t covered in the video, but if you are, or ever have been, a fan of LEGO® go make a cup of coffee, take a seat, press play and enjoy. If you’re not even slightly tempted to whip out an old set and get to building after that, then you clearly missed something very important in your younger days.
