Finally, Google have stepped it up and delivered the kind of awesomeness we’ve come to expect from them! Their initial Olympic doodle was a bit of let down, offering no real interaction or fun Easter Eggs, today’s however is right up there with the best of them.
In today’s Google Doodle, you take control of a hurdler and by using just three keys you control his movements as he progresses along the track. The concept is simple enough but the execution is surprisingly challenging. To get your hurdler up to speed you have to smash the left and right arrow keys in an alternating pattern as quickly as possible, while also jumping over hurdles using the space bar. The biggest challenge is timing your jumps perfectly so that you don’t hit any of the hurdles.
