In the heart of Jozi lies a romantic and tranquil beauty, The Westcliff Hotel. Most of the suites, with private balconies, overlook stunning zoological gardens, manicured courtyards, and the surrounding ridges of greater Johannesburg. I shouldn’t have to tell you about my fondness for the Westcliff, as well wonderful times I’ve had dining here. You can find out for yourself.
The Westcliff has put together a positively splendid four course dinner for the month of August, as part of its Wine and Dine series. Now lean in close. Real close. Too close, back it up.
As I was saying, the Wine and Dine series.
Every Friday evening, a four course meal is offered at the La Belle Terrasse restaurant. Each course is paired with a guest wine, which is a fairly standard vibe for an establishment of this quality. At R380 per person (barely half a month’s car-guard change, let’s be honest), your evening starts at 18h30 with pre drinks next to the fountain. Things could be worse. Start at one and go to four, and for the grand finale – a dip in the pool, if you must.
And as it happens, August is the month that we celebrate woman, so indulge the woman in your life with four courses and wine to match. Heck, why not make it an event out of it, and book a room in one of the Westcliff’s stunning suites?
Relationships are a box, friends. You have to put something in to take something out.
This is one of those “putting something in” moments.
To reserve a place for what you know will be a good time, call them on (011) 481 6000 or email The Westcliff.
