There is a new movie coming out, courtesy of Warner Bros, called Gangster Squad. The trailers are about to start showing in cinemas across the US. But those trailers have been pulled because Warner Bros (who made the Batman movie) are worried about a scene where a bunch of gangsters shoot up a cinema. The movie has some big names in it, including Emma Stone, Josh Brolin, Ryan Gosling and one times Sean Penn.
Ninemsn had this to say:
Warner Brothers is pulling a trailer for its movie Gangster Squad from US cinemas in the wake of the Batman premier massacre, because it shows a group of men opening fire in a crowded theatre.
Set for release in the US on September 7, the noir film tells the story of the Los Angeles Police Department’s secret 1940s anti-mob gangster squad and stars Sean Penn, Nick Nolte, Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone.
One of the key scenes in the trailer shows mobsters going backstage at a famous Hollywood theatre and opening fire on the audience.
Warner Brothers pulled the trailer from playing in movie theatres after 12 people were shot dead at a midnight screening of the final Dark Knight movie in Aurora, Colorado on Friday.
