Bloc Party To Headline New Jozi Music Fest

Capetonians were extremely pleased with the news that Bloc Party are to be headlining Rocking the Daisies this year, but with that, comes today’s announcement that the four-piece act will headline a brand new festival in Jozi called In The City.

In The City is a new concert that will feature three local acts as well as headliners – Bloc Party – organisers announced earlier.

Bloc Party is a pretty big deal, and they’ve appeared on the main stages of some of the world’s most popular music festivals.

Much like the Rocking the Daisies announcement, there is not much other information to go on yet as to who else will be playing at In The City, but they do have a website, so keep an eye on that.

The event will take place at Mary Fitzgerald Square, Newtown, Johannesburg on Friday 5th October. Tickets are only R265, with limited availability, so get on it quick, Jozi.
