Barack Obama’s half-brother, George Obama, is about to be introduced to the world in a new feature-length documentary. George Obama lives in a hut in Nairobi, Kenya, he is one of a number of interviewees who are part of the upcoming documentary, “2016: Obama’s America”. The film is based on the best-selling book The Roots of Obama’s Rage, by Dinesh D’Souza. The author, who was intimately involved with the making of the movie, was first drawn to George following a news report from several years ago, and decided to track him down. In the clip above he speaks to George about some pressing issues.
The youngest of several siblings, George seems to hold no resentment towards his country-ruling brother and doesn’t feel like he needs his direct support.
He’s taking care of the world, so he’s taking care of me.
Their personal issues however, are not the focus of the movie. Rather, it centres on the alleged anger at colonialism that was passed on to Barack by his father.
