Ken Block is back with another crazy-ass stunt drive around San Francisco with Gymkhana 5, and it has gone viral, hard. The video has gained 7.8 million views since it went up on Monday, getting half of that in the first 24 hours.
Gymkhana Five is the latest installment in the award-winning series of films from the driver which have notched up total views of more than 150 million. This video has Block drive a his own a 2.0L turbocharged Ford Fiesta around San Francisco, the first time that he has only used real roads.
Block said:
San Francisco was absolutely amazing for Gymkhana. It’s such a unique location for this kind of driving and allowed me to do some things that I never thought I’d ever be able to incorporate into one of my Gymkhana videos, like jumping a table top or doing a jump drift.
So if you want a video to go insanely viral it’s easy. Just shut down a city of 7.5 million people, and jump a car over various objects. It’s an incredible show of extreme driving, and worth every minute of viewing.
