Here at 2oceansVibe we’re rather fond of “Eastbound and Down”. We cried big tears when we heard it was to be no more, but fear not! Kenny Powers is set to return to HBO for a fourth season of the comedy series. Why? Because he’s Kenny fucking Powers, that’s why.

The show closed in April with a viewership of over 1 million, which is not too shabby for pay TV. The third season had Powers living in Myrtle Beach, struggling as a single dad.

HBO has not announced date for the fourth season, but has revealed that it will be eight episodes. Other renewals included the new hit show, “Girls” and the non-sparkly vampire drama “True Blood.”
