Mad Bob is on his way to Singapore yet again, for what has been described by one of his aides as a routine medical checkup. The president’s faith in his own country’s healthcare system aside, is the 88 year-old on the way out?

A senior official of the Zimbabwean government made the following statement to Reuters:

The president is going on a private visit for a routine medical check-up – not because he is sick or anything like that, but one consistent with his strong belief in getting regular medical examinations in order to stay healthy.

Zimbabwean State Radio has stated that the reasons for the trip was a follow-up for a cataracts operation, and lambasted the evil imperialist media for making a mountain out of a molehill.

A WikiLeaks cable in 2008 revealed that Mugabe was suffering from prostate cancer, and that the cancer had spread to his other organs. Could this be the beginning of the end for the dictator? Is he going to be the last dictator standing?

To be honest, I always thought it was going to be syphilis.
