Entries are now open for an epic Friday on 6 July in Cape Town and Joburg – that’s right gang, this time we’re spreading the love!
We’ve always felt that life was too short for a five-day workweek. Much like the folks at the Jack Daniel Distillery, who celebrate Fridays with an age old tradition of giving a bottle of Old No. 7 to their employees, we’ve pushed back against the concept of “working Fridays” since day one. And we’re walking our talk too, because Friday 6 July is looking a lot more interesting for 12 lucky folks. Why you may ask? Because we’re celebrating yet another Friday done Jack’s way! And this time, for the very first time, we’re spreading the love to Joburg!
One winner in Cape Town and one in Joburg respectively will be able to invite five friends to join them for an indulgent afternoon, courtesy of our mates at Jack Daniel’s. The setting is the stylish Mezepoli Meze and Wine Bar on the Piazza in Melrose Arch, Johannesburg, and also Victoria Road, Camps Bay, Cape Town. So we’ll be kicking back in the name of Jack in both cities. At the same time. Quite mean.
Mezepoli Camps Bay, nice vibe…
Drawn from the culinary cultures of the Mediterranean and the Middle East, we’re told Mezepoli offers an innovative style of dining. Simple, fresh and flavourful, its contemporary menu makes for a social experience in the true Mediterranean way. Sounds right on the money.
So let’s just say that it’ll be more of the same – great whiskey, great food, great company, and a great alternative to working on a Friday afternoon. If this sounds like your kind of Friday, then join the movement!
Mezepoli Melrose Arch, equally nice vibe…
To stand the chance of winning:
Simply tell us what the name of Jack’s Greek island would’ve been, had he owned one!
Send your entry via email to jackfriday@2oceansvibe.com or tweet @2OVfm using the hashtag #jackfriday.
Entries close on midnight Wednesday 4 July. Ts&Cs apply.
