It is with great pride and excitement that 2oceansvibe Media – in particular 2oceansvibe Radio – can now announce a strategic collaboration with South Africa’s #1 news source, News24.
The relationship between Media24 and 2oceansvibe Media has gone from strength to strength over the past few years, with both news sources often sharing articles, links and quotes. 2oceansvibe regulars who can’t enter the day without the Morning Spice headlines, will agree that news24 often features alongside the likes of Daily Telegraph, New York Times and Wall Street Journal as the go-to site for world news headlines.
By the same token it was a natural decision for news24 to add a bit of “the vibe” to their front page, so as to further enrich their readers’ experience and add some entertainment and listening pleasure to the otherwise dull office background sounds! After all, who has an FM radio at the office these days? The button is located under the popular “News You Should Know” portion of the front page, alongside the financial indicators.
With the likes of Ian F (breakfast show from 08h00 to 10h00), Lindsay Williams and Rich Hardiman (10h00 to 12h00), Just Josie (12h00 to 14h00), Bailey Schneider (14h00 to 15h00) and a host of other specialist weekly shows from 15h00 to 17h00 (including Bob Skinstad, Mark Bayly, Brendan Jack, Chris Forrest and more) behind the mic, we’re sure the new listeners will settle in quite comfortably!
Especially when the stream uses only 20mb/hour and provides original content with presenters who can finally discuss what they want and play the music they want!
We’re very proud of our new Radio button on the front page of News24, so please click here and go and check it out in all it’s glory. We’re in the early stages so please give it a click and let us know if everything is working smoothly. We would appreciate any feedback.
