The trailer for the upcoming album, Four.
This is pretty awesome news, the British indie rock band will be playing on the main stage at Rocking the Daisies on Saturday 6 October. This will come soon after their new album, Four, is released on the 20th of August.
Even though the band participated in an incredibly lame PR stunt last year about looking for new lead singers, it’s damn exciting that they’re going to be performing in South Africa. The band is huge, their live shows kick-ass, and they are way way better than a previous headliner Eagle-Eye Cherry.
The press release states about their new album:
‘FOUR’ presents a band in the fullest sense of the word: lean, hungry, spirited and uncompromising, armed with a collection ofsongs as powerful and anthemic as they’ve ever penned, as well as some of their most hard-hitting and visceral recordings to date!
We will just have to see, won’t we. There is not much other info yet on who else is playing, but the festival generally attracts top local acts. Bloc Party is without question the biggest act the festival has had, unless, of course, you are a massive Eagle-Eye Cherry fan.
