You just cannot make this stuff up! Fight Church is an upcoming documentary about the combination of Christianity and Mixed Martial Arts. The film follows several pastors and fighters in a quest to reconcile their faith with this violent sport. It is being directed by Oscar-winning filmmaker, Daniel Junge.

The Fight Church trailer below offers up some choice quotes such as:

• “The greatest examples in scripture of Jesus is as a fighter, that is the kind of Jesus that I would want to serve.”
• “My hope is that through the fight I can create a relationship with the person I am fighting and extend Christ to him.”
