Very few people are privileged enough to travel the world and even fewer can say they’ve set foot on all seven continents. Thankfully we have been blessed with photographers like Sean F. White, who has not only accomplished both, but chose to record the journey and share it via an amazing time-lapse recording. Click through for a magnificent six-minute trip around the world.
Sean F. White’s “Terra Sacra” (Latin for Sacred Earth) is a short film showcasing some of the most amazing features of the Earth, both natural and man-made.
“My life as a filmmaker has been a journey which has blessed me with the privilege of seeing some of the most surreal and timeless places on the planet. These images of our Sacred Earth set to music are my way of sharing some of the magic I’ve experienced along the way…
This film is a personal project to share the beauty and awe I witnessed at these locations. I hope viewers will be moved by the intangible power of our Terra Sacra.”
The images which make up the film are a combination of personal and professional work accumulated between 2006 and 2012 from all around the world, and are set to an original score by composer Roy Milner.
“The six-minute film is a journey through three distinct Acts: (I) Primordial Earth (II) Past meets Present and (III) Eternal Universe.”
The imagery and accompanying music combine exquisitely, creating a unique, evocative experience that should only be enjoyed in full-HD with a sturdy set of speakers.
