Last week the internet exploded with excitement at Tendai ‘Beast’ Mtawarira’s incredible feat of strength when he lifted fellow player Anton Bresler, 112kg, above his head and held him there for several seconds. As it turns out, this was not a one-off occurrence, he did it again in the same game and then once more this past weekend! Click through to see his raw power.
As you can see from the clip above, Beast is not a man to be taken lightly. He stands 1.88m tall and tips the scales at 116kg, oh, and he regularly lifts heavier players above his head, without even batting an eyelid. This weekend’s display was only the latest in his archive of brute force exploits. Let’s take a look back at his record.
Safe as houses! Beast saves Keegan Daniel from a fall.
What’s that? Yes, I am holding a 118kg man above my head, and no, it’s not very hard.
And of course if you missed last week’s video, here it is again.

Poetry in motion! Let’s take a moment to be thankful that the Beast is on our side.
