Being confirmed PUMAphiles here at 2oceansvibe, we take note when we hear of other PUMAsexuals playing so nicely. And this time it has to do with a couple of the worlds biggest and fastest brands – Ferrari Formula 1 and the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt.
Listen to this:
Fernando Alonso today (25 May) unveiled the lightest performance F1 race boot in Formula One, ahead of the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix this weekend. The PUMA evoSPEED Mid Pro race boot was designed in collaboration with Ferrari and is the product of extensive research and design innovation, to ensure it meets the comfort, weight and fit requirements while exceeding the fire retardant standards stipulated by the FIA.
In celebration of the Mid Pro race boot, PUMA has also launched a lifestyle version for fans. Apart from the fire-proofing, the evoSPEED Mid is a replica of the drivers race boot, featuring the same design, shape and colourway. The shoe features a full EVA comfort midsole, an internal EverFit cage for enhanced fit, and a heel wrap up for better grip. For extra durability, a rubber spray toe-cap has been added. The minimalistic pattern piecing and the asymmetrical lace system showcase the focus on function for this style.
The PUMA evoSPEED Mid is part of PUMA’s groundbreaking evoSPEED collection that is inspired by Usain Bolt, the World’s Fastest Man. The evoSPEED collection answers every athlete’s need for speed and is designed under the criteria of “light, flex, and fit”, featuring lightweight materials, increased flexibility and an optimized fit that enables a greater freedom of movement without compromising support, all which help enhance speed.
It’s no surprise that 2oceansvibe employees are some of the fastest in Cape Town – if not South Africa.
You’ve probably heard about 2oceansvibe Media’s Cape Town campus, boasting Google-like perks; including free vida e coffee (served from their own personal vide e outlet) for all staff. So I guess you should be the first to know that we’re looking at installing a tartan track around the perimeter of “The Compound.”
