Remember that little chat we had regarding productivity last week?
You may have remembered that I tend to take a stroll, and eat a tasty snack when my creative juices run dry. It’s a physical solution to a mental problem, and it works, really well.
Well, sure, it’s a great solution, but the weather has been harshing my buzz, lately. Look at this sorry state of affairs.
That’s right my friends. Unpredictability. Dangerous. Not how we roll. Being rained on is terrible for creativity.
So I’ve been resorting to online flash gaming to reset my mind, lately. I nailed most of the usuals. Cricket, soccer, racing, first person shooters. They’ve all been done, and they’re losing their charm.
But I came across this spicy little “marketing ploy” by KFC.
Tower Raiders is an online flash game, where you defend your KFC Tower Burger from attack, either by your friends (who join in on Facebook), or just from computer simulated enemies. Also, you can win 500 bucks every day if you start killing it with your high scores. Or, you could win the grand prize of R25 000.
Eitsa. Quite mean. I’ll be helping myself to that, thanks.
The win for me, obviously, is the simple, repetitive game. Sure, it looks minimalist, but this thing has legs. Three days running, and it still works a charm.
And I don’t mind picking up the odd chunk of carguard change. R500 is quite tidy.
