Bond’s loyalty to M is tested in the upcoming 23rd outing for 007
The hotly anticipated third outing for Daniel Craig’s 007, Skyfall, dropped its first teaser trailer at the Cannes Film Festival today.
The teaser features Craig as 007, obviously, and also Judi Dench reprising her role as “M”. Also featuring is Ralph Fiennes (fresh out of Hogwarts) as an MI6 agent, and brief looks at Bond girls, Naomie Harris and Bérénice Marlohe. The film’s villain is played by Javier Bardem (who doesn’t appear in the teaser), and the whole thing is directed by Academy Award-winner, Sam Mendes. You’ll recall that significant parts of the film were reportedly shot in South Africa, as well as Turkey, China and India.
Skyfall is set to drop in cinemas around the world this October.
