YouTube has announced that big Hollywood stars, including Jennifer Garner and Dakota Fanning, have signed up to appear on its new online TV channel, Where It Gets Interesting (WIGS).
WIGS creates and flights original dramatic series and short films. In addition to Garner and Fanning, who will be the leading ladies in a new web series on WIGS, other Hollywood names who have confirmed they will take roles in WIGS productions include Julia Stiles, America Ferrera, Virginia Madsen, Michael C. Hall, Stephen Moyer and Alfred Molina.
At 20v we’ve known for a while that web TV is the future of entertainment – and it’s clear that many A-listers agree.
Madsen sums it up nicely: “This is where entertainment is going. So get on board now or you might miss the train.”
