This is ridiculous, watch as these clearly insane people calmly cross a ravine, on a rope, 700m from the ground! It’s terrifying, logic-defying, awe-inspiring and incredible all at the same time, and once you start watching there’s no way you can stop.
This crazy video was shot by Pierre Chauffour in the Verdon, in “Cirque de Sordidon” and, according to the description on Vimeo, it was his first attempt!
First highline experience, first video… Try standing up on a highline is not the easyest thing i did, making my own video of this amazing trip neither.” (sic)
Somehow the way they comically flap their arms to maintain balance makes you forget about the death-defying nature of the stunt. As amazing as it looks, I’d much rather watch from a safe distance than attempt it myself.
