This morning we told you about the One World Trade Centre, which officially became the tallest building in New York City yesterday. According to NY’s mayor, Michael Bloomberg, the skyscraper “symbolises triumph over terrorism, standing where the twin towers stood before 9/11.”
The building measures an incredible 387 metres, six metres higher than the Empire State Building. Next year, when it’s finished, the tower will stretch 541 metres.
