This is pretty big, and you may not even be aware of it. If you’re using a computer, you my find yourself suddenly unable to go online, and it’s got nothing to do with the ADSL going down in your area or your ISP. Find out if you’re safe.
It all started a while ago, when an international hacker group sent out an advertisement that they would take mass control of a large group of infected computers around the world. The FBI, to combat this, set up a network safety net of sorts, using government computers. This allowed infected computers to remain online.
This network is now being taken down, and those who are still infected will no longer be able to go online. Want to know if you’re infected? Go to DCWG.org, where a few clicks will tell you if you’re infected, and what you can do to get clean.
