COMPETITION IS NOW CLOSED
Taste of Cape Town isn’t just any food festival.
No siree, this is a vetted affair.
The restaurants and chefs attending are all invited to attend, it certainly isn’t one of those “anything goes” vibes.
And that means quality, excellence, and most importantly, a symphony of pleasure in and around your mouth/cerebral cortex.
The Mount Nelson Hotel’s Chef, Rudi will be there in his stead as the big kahuna of the Planet Restaurant, along with his team of chefs and his sommelier, Carl Habel.
Rudi and his band of merry men will be pairing their incredible food with the complex and interesting wines of Hermanuspietersfontein.
Just take a look at some of the delights that they’ll be preparing.
Duck tortellini – Fresh tomato basil sauce, rocket and parmesan
BBQ pork belly – Sweet potato bake, Savoy cabbage with smoked pork neck, pickled pineapple & carrot salad
That’s quite enough, compose yourself.
The event runs the from 19 to 22 April on Thursday and Friday evenings, and both Saturday and Sunday from 13h00 to 18h00 at the Greenpoint Cricket Club.
And you, my friends, can win one of a few handfuls of tickets to this exclusive event.
