Get it at FNB at the end of April!
FNB have announced they will start offering the new iPad to their customers at the end of the month, the first South African company to make the new iPad available domestically. The third generation of the hugely popular Apple tablet was released in mid-March overseas, after a high profile launch event earlier in March.
Last year, FNB launched a special deal on tablet PCs and smartphones for some of its account holders, and has also confirmed that it will keep supplying the iPad 2 as well the new iPad.
Ilse Smuts, head of marketing at FNB Core Banking Solutions, said that FNB will supply the new iPad at the lowest possible price point, but could not comment on specific pricing options.
The new iPad significantly upgrades the technical specs of its predecessor, sporting a retina display (2048×1536 pixels), a faster processor, an improved camera that supports HD video recording, 44% greater color saturation and quad-core graphics designed specifically for the retina display.
