I was all set to hate the Colin-Farrell-starring remake of 1990’s Total Recall (which had Arnold Schwarzenegger portray an amnesiac freedom fighter from Mars) – but it actually looks pretty rad! Flying cars, memory implants, and Jessica Biel are all things that make good movies good. Take a look.
I mean, they’ve lost the whole Mars plot to make stuff more realistic, but director Len Wiseman has insisted that the three-breatested woman from the Paul Verhoeven version will be making an appearance. So yay, I guess.
There’s also dubstep which I’m less crazy about, but Kate Beckinsale balances the thing out.
Total Recall, also starring John Cho and Bryan Cranston (on top of Farrel, Biel & Beckinsale), hits theaters August 3rd.
