Hey Doomsdayers, guess what? The world isn’t going to end in 2012, or any time soon for that matter. At least that’s according to a NASA astrophysicist, who I’d assume has a library that smells of rich mahogany and is filled with many leather-bound books, and also a degree in astrophysics.
In the above video, Don Yeomans from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab explains, in intricate detail, exactly why the world won’t end in December as the Mayan’s apparently predicted. He also goes on to explain why thinking that the world will end any time soon is rather silly. He does all of this is plain English, easy enough for a bright toddler to understand. Heck, there are even pictures!
As he so aptly puts it, “extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”, and to date not a shred has been found to give any credibility to any Doomsday predictions.
