How’s this for pretty sweet – Cape Town International Airport has been voted the best in Africa by the Airports Council International. Not too shabby, eh? I of course remember it from when it was still the humble DF Malan, but it’s nice to see that some progress has been made.
The award was announced yesterday at the Airport Council International’s annual global Airport Service Quality Awards. This bodes well for Cape Town as a tourism destination, because we can now boast the following:

Durban’s King Shaka International ranked third in Africa, with East London scooping up the award for most improved service.
