Fashion is known for being a little ridiculous, but this is just plain absurd. A new designer has branched out their range in response to a demand, of all things, to create a pantyhose specifically aimed at men.
Priced at a mere $27 per pair, you too can be the proud owner of a pair of Emilio Cavallini man tights. The designer said he saw the gap in the market after he noticed that a lot of his women’s tights were being bought by men.
Mr Cavallini said that his company’s ‘brosiery’ is tested on its male employees and that their research had led to a special, breathable fabric being designed to account for men’s higher perspiration levels. You know, so that it’s more manly.
Apparently the main reason is “to keep warm”, but the look has also been spotted worn underneath shorts. I’d rather not picture it.
No thank you.
