Here at 2oceansVibe towers, we like to keep our fingers firmly on the pulse of popular entertainment, and at the moment, there are few shows gettings hearts racing quite as rapidly as the imminent return of HBO’s Game of Thrones for its second season. Likewise, those long-in-the-tooth folks over at The Simpsons also like keeping it fresh 500 shows in, so take a look what happened when The Simpsons went all Westeros on us in their beloved opening sequence in last Sunday’s all new episode.

Make sure to watch to the end for their awesome twist on the iconic couch gag. Personally, my favourite part is the familiar furry faces that appear at the beginning in the giant engraved rings that spin around Westeros’ Springfield’s sun in the sequence. I can see Santa’s Little Helper, Snowball II and Stampy, but is that Blinky I spy?
