Last night saw the expulsion of Julius Malema, along with some of his brothers-in-arms, from the ANC.

Now might be a good time to sit back and reflect on this prophetic Nando’s poster, released in November last year, that now rings truer than ever.

The headline reads: “Juju, you’ve been served.”

While the body copy reads: “Marinated, basted and flame-grilled. It’s the perfect recipe for delicious chicken. But…not so good for a political career.”

At the time of the poster’s publication, Malema still had some wiggle-room to get of the hook. Not so much, any more.
