It all started on Twitter, right after the Grammys. Presumably it was a bunch of young kids, born too late to really understand who Paul McCartney is and was. Tweets left and right started asking: Who the fuck is Paul McCartney? Funny or Die took it upon themselves to explain to the world exactly who the man is.

The clip covers his early life, from when he was born “Sirpaul McCartney” in the 1930s, probably in Europe or something, to his career highlights, including a guest spot on “The Simpsons,” his fathering of “well-known celebrity” Jesse McCartney and of course, making it big at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.
