Lovely Spam, wonderful Spam!!
All the surviving members of Monty Python are set to reunite for the first time in over a decade to provide voice talents for a film to be directed by fellow Python alumnus, Terry Gilliam.
Thus far, John Cleese, Michael Palin and Terrys- Jones and Gilliam have made themselves available for Gilliam’s planned animated 3D feature, Absolutely Anything. Only Eric Idle is currently hovering over joining. (Come on, Eric, don’t be like this!)
The film will reportedly follow the adventures of a man who is given super powers by a group of aliens (voiced by the Python cast). Hijinks no doubt ensue. Robin Williams will be voicing a dog in the movie.
Hmm, zero marks for originality, but many marks for potential Python deployment! Moving on: Last year, Cleese, Gilliam, Palin and Jones reportedly lent their voice talents to a 3D production celebrating the life of their late colleague, Graham Chapman, who died in 1989. Eric Idle was not involved in that production, but will be in this one, won’t you, Eric!?
