Joan Rivers, age 78

Well-known American comedienne, Joan Rivers, has just undergone her 734th plastic surgery operation at the age of 78.

This time she went for a to “tune-up” on her neck, and allowed a TV crew to film the process as part of her reality TV show Joan & Melissa: Joan Knows Best. Melissa is her daughter.

Before the procedure, Melissa staged a “skintervention” where she tried to convince her mother to decide against the procedure.  But Joan was having none of that and argued that “my body is a temple, and my temple needs redecorating.” However, she assured her daughter that she wasn’t going for “a Chaz Bono”, but  just a touch up.

Congrats Joan! Here’s to getting to that 1000th plastic surgery…before dying at the same age as the rest of us.
