Alarmingly hit and miss
Here’s some frightening footage that’s spent the month going viral on the interwebs. Pilots will tell you that the most statistically dangerous time during a flight is during take-off or landing, and now you can see why. Photographer Martin Bogdan spent some time filming planes on the runway at Düsseldorf Airport during a strong headwind just to catch some of the aero-acrobatics on display as incoming planes attempt to land, and be warned, the footage gets pretty hairy!
I think you’ll agree that these pilots have some mad skills. Get those pilots a Bells! After they’ve taxi’d to a stop, of course.
