On Sunday a second set of nude pictures of Khanyi Mbau appeared on Twitter. Film and Publication Board spokesman Mlimandlela Ndamase said yesterday that the police would be asked to help with investigations. They also warned that people who post such pictures on social networks might be held criminally liable. Even though it’s not the first time photos of Mbau have been leaked.
Mbau claimed in a tweet that an ex-boyfriend, Theunis Crous, had posted the seven pictures of her in suggestive poses in order to “destroy” her. Crous and his wife, Primrose, denied – in a statement and on Twitter – that he had posted the “distasteful” photographs.
Sounds like an episode of Isidingo, right?
The pictures have since been removed from Twitter, however, not before loads of screen shots have been captured. In the interest of research, should any individual be inclined to look for them, here they are:
