School pep rallies are all about building some hype before a big sporting game. But instead of proudly singing the school anthem together like most of us did, this American school has a different idea of what builds “school spirit.”

I believe the expression, “oh, America!” is very appropriate here.

The principal of Rosemount High School has been forced to apologise after a recent pep rally “prank” provoked outrage. This after a video surfaced online of team captains being blindfolded in front of their classmates and told to wait for a kiss from a “special someone”. After literally making out with this special someone, it is then revealed to them that it was in fact their mother or father.
