That’s just one of the facts I gleaned from the new Rustenburg Girls High School promotional video which has just hit the net – you might want to have a peep. Besides from the school’s excellent educational offering and facilities, I was more impressed with the head-girl, who completely owns the camera. Her delivery was spot on and by the time she was finished I nearly enrolled myself! Just check how she delivers the line “enquiring learning environment” – absolutely kills it.

Dubious curtains aside, other highlights for me included the deputy head-girl appearing from beneath the water of the school pool, to deliver her lines. Oh, there is also some interaction between the Rustenberg girls and some SACS and Rondebosch boys in the video. Which is great. I have no doubt Herschel Girls School will up the ante shortly with a slightly better video – probably in HD – and possibly with some cameos by Bishops boys. Hopefully this time their video won’t feature any Nutella.
