Last night Chelsea Clinton, daughter of Bill Clinton and Hilary Clinton, made her debut as a reporter on NBC. Yes, I know it’s weird to think that Bill and Hilary actually have a child, but she’s pretty good.

Chelsea famously hid away from the cameras during her parents time in power, choosing instead to study a career in journalism. I’m going to hazard a guess and say that her parents may have helped her get a foot in the door. Check out here debut performance here.

Clinton was hired on as a special correspondent for NBC in November. The hire was criticized by some as a publicity stunt. Clinton is not the only daughter of a politician to be recently hired on to cover the news. George W. Bush’s daughter, Jenna Bush Hager is a correspondent for the Today show, while Meghan McCain, the daughter of Arizona Senator and former presidential candidate John McCain, reports for MSNBC.

And here you thought the South African media was under threat of political influence.
